it is amazing how we operate as parents. if anyone else had kept me up at night as much as this little one in the last week i would look upon them with disdain and contempt. yet, even after a night of being awake, all i can do is love her more & more & more. i surprise myself all the time with the amount of love i have to give my two babiekins … sometimes i feel like it is all about to run out … then one of them just looks up at me with a face of hope, wonder, delight, vegemite & i can’t help but be overflowing in my love for each of them. oh how i love them & how i feel incredibly blessed that i have been chosen to be their mother – wow ! they challenge me, refine me, soften me, and give me the ability to go beyond what the world tells us love is. thank you jesus for showing me the way.

here’s to hoping we get lots & lots & lots of sleep next week … i know it can happen !
